Robust and stable giant umbrellas need to be fixed appropriately – either with an in-ground and upper sleeve system with a concrete foundation or a base plate or portable stand integrated into the existing structural surrounding of terraces or balconies. This way they ensure a secure standing position and best stability.

Just in case you don't find a suitable fixing we are able to design and produce a special fixing according to your requirements.

In-ground and upper sleeve

For permanent installation we recommend our 2-part in-ground sleeve system.
By use of a clamp and secured with a lock screw your umbrella is safely fixed and guarantees a zero-play and secure hold. The ground sleeve is set on ground level into a concrete foundation to ensure a secure 
standing position.

Concrete Cube

Concrete Cube

The Concrete Cube is supplied with four height-adjustable heavy-duty stainless steel levelling feet as well as an adapter plate with hinge support. With a weight of approx. 1000 kg, it offers an especially stable solution for secure installation.

Optional accessories are available, including seating surfaces with elegant individual slats in thermo ash or powder-coated aluminium on sturdy aluminium rails, as well as a seat cushion with Sunacryl cover in a selectable fabric colour.

 

Base Plate

The base plate is used in cases where a 
concrete foundation is not possible. 
Prime examples are roof-top terraces, 
locations with underlying basements or 
balconies. 
By means of an 8 anchor screw system and special heavy duty dowels secure standing is ensured.

Liro Maxi Plus Mobile Base

Liro Maxi Plus Mobile Base

The Liro Maxi Plus mobile base is suitable for umbrella type T up to 4 x 4 m. It has 
dimensions of 82 x 82 x 14 cm and a weight of 240 kg.

It is equipped with concrete inserts and four sturdy castors with aluminium cover caps, powder-coated in a RAL colour to match the umbrella frame. The 82/92 mm upper part of the in-ground sleeve is included and is 
likewise finished in a matching RAL colour.

 

Portable Stand

For mobile installation we recommend welded, hot dip galvanized or powder coated portable stands used with inlaid concrete paving slabs. 
The four corner supports 
can be adjusted individually to 
compensate any unevenness in the underlying ground.

Steel Plate Base

The steel plate base is available for umbrella types T and TS. 
Depending on the umbrella type and size, 
versions with one, two or three layers of four plates each are available, 
including an adapter plate with hinge support.

Depending on the version, the total weight is 136 kg, 270 kg or 404 kg. Powder coating is available at extra cost. A level surface is 
required for installation.

Seat Cover for Support Frames

The seat cover for support frames is available for all support frames and features a seat surface made of thermo ash. The two-part, powder-coated aluminium body allows for easy installation.

The dimensions are 140 x 140 x 50 cm. At an additional cost, a matching backrest made of thermo ash with a powder-coated aluminium frame and a compact, screw-mounted table for the support frame cover are also available.
